About Mike:
Thanks for stopping by my page.
I guess I should tell you a little bit about me and why I decided to start a website like www.DietHealthandFitness.com.
You see, I've been interested in my health ever since I was a kid. I don't know about you but I've always loved playing sports ever since I can remember. And as an athlete you had to get through the bumps and bruises as fast as you could if you wanted to play.
So, I always tried to eat right, exercise and practice as much as I could. Lucky for me, my mother was an awesome cook and always had a nice meal ready for me every night. (thanks mom) I pretty much practiced 'something' every single day, whether it was football, baseball or basketball, you always knew where to find me.
I'll start by saying that I had to be one of the luckiest kids I knew.
At 12 years old, my baseball team made it to the Bambino Little League World Series and at 13 years old, my football team wins the Pop Warner National Championship on Nickelodeon. It was special time in my life that I will definitely not forget because most kids never get a chance to do something like that.
When I got to high school I played both football and baseball and by my senior year, I knew that football was what I wanted to pursue.
So, I was always in the weight room lifting and getting stronger so I could compete at the next level. All I ever heard was "you're too small" or "you're too weak" or "you're too slow" to play football in college. I was a middle linebacker who was a whopping 5'10" 185lbs. trying to play college football...and no one thought I could do it.
Quick question for you, are you the kind of person that just absolutely gets amped up and motivated when other people 'don't think you can do it'? When people doubt you, do you step up to their challenge or step away?
If you're like me, you not only step up, you step over and above.
That's exactly what I did. I stepped over and above and not only played college football but was a damn good player at that.
I finished my college career at Western Connecticut State as a two time All-American middle linebacker and two-time team captain.
When I finished my three years there we had a record of 28-4 and won two champiosnhips. (I got the rings to prove it ;)
I guess my point is that by being so involved in sports and around so many athletes throughout my life, it just came natural to me to want to be in the best shape I could be in and share what I had learned with others.
I realized that unless you were an athlete, you probably didn't think twice about taking protein or a multi-vitamin on a regular basis, nevermind getting outside and exercising a little bit.
Now don't get me wrong, I knew plenty of people who 'wanted' to get into shape. I also knew plenty of people who just didn't know where to get information on the products they needed.
We put this site together for people who are looking for solutions to their health concerns. We want to be your resource for information, tips, tricks and quality products for all types of health related topics.
I appreciate you stopping by.
To Your Health,

Michael Toscano - President
