About Brue:

 

My education in health and wellness started at a very young age. My father is a medical doctor and my mother is a natural health expert and yoga instructor. This gave me a perfectly balanced perspective on the importance of medicine and natural healing.

 

Ironically, however, I wasn't always perfectly healthy. After living a college lifestyle for four years, I graduated twenty pounds overweight, depressed, eating a horrible diet, not exercising enough, going in and out of bad relationships, and not having a clue as to what to do with my life.

 

I was "lost" in that state for a while until I finally became tired of feeling "sick and tired." I knew I needed a serious change. On a whim I decided to go to South Africa with a college friend for six weeks to try to gain a new perspective on things. It changed my life.

 

Although Africa is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, I also saw the downside; the poverty, the rampant disease, and what many people who live there have to endure on a day to day basis just to survive. This made me realize how I actually had everything I could ever need at my fingertips at home, but was wasting all my good fortune and opportunity.

 

Being on a different continent also changed my health. Throughout those six weeks I ate less and way differently than I did in the U.S. I had to walk and hike a lot which helped me clear my mind and my body as well. For the first time, in a long time, I actually started to feel good.

 

When I got home I was motivated and focused to keep that feeling. I shoved aside all of the "junk" I used to put into my body, started eating right, read everything I could get my hands on about health and wellness, attended business seminars, started working out regularly, and decided to take action to start my own health business.

 

It's been six years now and I've never returned to my bad habits. I'm committed to living a healthy life, for the rest of my life.
